A strange town surrounded by four gigantic white marble walls, and covered by a cloudy, rose-tinted sky. The landscape and buildings are well-cared for, and food and supplies are plentiful. But the only inhabitants are people of a variety of other worlds. It seems everyone residing in Elysian City simply appeared there at random.

No one knows how they ended up here, but everyone knows there is no way to leave. The gates refuse to open to even the strongest muscle or magic, and the walls do not seem to end. What could be going on in this city? It seems that only time will tell.

Welcome to Elysian City...enjoy your stay.

 Sulking

Blaise was feeling much better. He also felt somewhat irritated. Neither he nor Fang Jin had figured out how they were going to get back to Solis, where their friends were sure waiting for them. Even the fox spirit, over a thousand years old, said that he'd never seen a city such as this in his lifetime. Blaise sat on the edge of a bed with his arms folded, one leg crossed over the other. Fang Jin couldn't help but be amused; the alchemist was clearly sulking about their predicament.

The fox peered through a window, occasionally flicking his ears or swishing his tail. Danger was never too far away when one was in a strange place. He had to remain vigilant, if not for his sake, but for Blaise's, especially after the odd shaking that he was certain had aroused the entire city. It was enough to awaken Blaise, although Fang Jin himself hadn't slept. Being an immortal creature, sleep was one of the least of his concerns.

The infirmary had not been damaged, much to Blaise's delight. It meant he could still use it. He hoped, of course, that no other earthquakes would occur.

"The sooner we find our way out of here," the alchemist spoke up at last, "the better. I'm sure Glenn and the others are missing us."
