A strange town surrounded by four gigantic white marble walls, and covered by a cloudy, rose-tinted sky. The landscape and buildings are well-cared for, and food and supplies are plentiful. But the only inhabitants are people of a variety of other worlds. It seems everyone residing in Elysian City simply appeared there at random.

No one knows how they ended up here, but everyone knows there is no way to leave. The gates refuse to open to even the strongest muscle or magic, and the walls do not seem to end. What could be going on in this city? It seems that only time will tell.

The Key of Chaos. It is a legendary thing, fought over by centuries by the most powerful deities of the multiverse. An object of pure astral energy and untold power. Some say it doesn't exist. Some believe it should be left where no force of chaos can capture it...

But those forces of chaos will often not be denied.

Enter Eris, Greek goddess of discord. A powerful deity, she is not truly evil, but it is in her nature to long for things to be consumed by chaos. And thus, the deity has taken it upon herself to, at last, find and claim the Key of Chaos before it can be captured and hidden away by the highest ranking beings of each universe. With the Key, she can finally achieve what she has always longed for: true and utter chaos.

Eris has discovered that the Key of Chaos was broken into several seperate parts and hidden in the souls of at least seven different mortals. To throw those like the goddess of discord off track, however, multiple mortals across the multiverse have been tainted by a touch of the Key's power. And so, Eris has begun the harvest.

Isolating a pocket dimension at the axis upon which all universes connect, she has created her own world and, by any means necessary, lured, transported, and stolen away every mortal touched by the Key's power to a place she may not have created but has claimed as her own... a strange city at the nexus of all dimensions... Elysian City.

*A note from Kaycee:

You cannot declare your character one of the Keys of Chaos; that is for the mods to decide. If your character is NOT one of the keys, it does not make them any less important. ^^ *
